Abby and McKenna had their well check-ups today and surprise, surprise...they're still tall! McKenna went first and the doctor said, "Wow, you're a tall girl." (As I thought to myself, wait till you get to Abby's stats." She's in the 97% for height...always has been.
So then moving on to Abby, off the charts again of course. At seven she is as tall as the average ten and a half year old, and right on track to be 6'1. We're trying to instill in her a sense of pride (in a a good way) about being so tall, teaching her to say "Thank you" or "Isn't it great" when people comment on her height. If she can continue to look at it as the blessing that it is, hopefully she wont be too self-conscious about it when she older.
