We prolonged our trip so that we could spend Monday at the beach. It was a great day. Not super hot but very pleasant.
For Graysons first time in sand he did amazing well. A few fist fulls were eaten that are showing up in his diaper days later, but he was a trouper with it being a very long day at the beach.
He was a little shocked when the waves first got him...that water was not the same temperature as bath water he's used to splashing in.
Even though the water was 50 degrees, my kids spent an amazing amount of time in the ocean jumping waves and boogie boarding.
But they sure came out of the water cold!
Gavin's new nickname should be sand man. The kid had sand in every possible crack and crevice. In fact multiple showers later I still haven't gotten all the sand out. But looking at this picture I guess that should come as no surprise.
