Remember When....

I did not love watching the gas prices rise this summer on what seemed like a daily basis. I do however love watching them fall and find myself driving by the gas station even if it's not exactly on the way because I want to see what the prices are.

I don't remember when the last time was that I saw gas prices this low...although I do remember gas at .97 cents when we lived in Atlanta, but that was 9 years ago. (I sound a little like my Grandma; remembering when movies were a nickle... I remember loving to listen to her stories and comparisons and I see that in my own kids even though the comparisons are not near as vast for me to make as they were for her.)

So happy that it only cost $35 to fill up my car instead of $85!

I guess low gas prices are a definate perk to living in oil country. Wish our QT signs looked like that!
