Last weekend we experienced our first of many to come Pinewood Derbies.
Zachary was so excited and the entire month of December wanted to start working on his car.
Gavin was enthralled, dreaming of the day when he would be racing his own car. We didn't know about sibling races this year...so next year he'll have his chance.
Zachary's car is the red one....
Zachary's car came in second in his heat and third overall in the wolf pack.
Not bad for us first timers!
I had to leave the event a little early to get Abby to her ballet practice. But I quickly did the math and called Bret to tell him the good news...we will have a Pinewood Derby every year for the next TWELVE years!!!
