Sunday, March 25 we blessed Grayson Henry Crane.
Because of a conflict with Abby's Writer's Eye Ceremony that afternoon, we actually blessed him in the morning at the Zobrist's home...a wonderful couple in our ward. It was so wonderful to have it in their home. We had about 55 people come and there was such a wonderful spirit about the whole thing. I didn't get pictures of everyone who was there, but we are just surrounded by so many good people. To list the families that were there so I'll remember years from now: the Harris's, Quinn's, Evan's, Budge's, Johnson's, Bishop Schill, James Mitchell, both sets of Grandparents, the Zobrist's, the Stephenson's, and even my good friend Sally Wallace and her daughter Kate who are not members of our church were there.
Just a few of the kids that were there...
Our first family picture with five kids...
Bret's parents came all the way from California for the wonderful day. We are so grateful they made the long trip to be with us.
And my parents came from Utah. Grayson is one lucky little baby to be loved so much by his Grandparents.
After the blessing Brother Zobrist showed us around their home and property. We saw the cabin that was built by a freed slave and transported from Richmond.
And then he took us out to the barn that is home for his Golden Eagle and Hawks.

Waiting for "Grandpa Z" to get the eagle...
What a beautiful animal...
And then he took the kids down to the pond to feed the ducks...
It was such a special day. Bret gave a very beautiful blessing to Grayson and what stands out in my mind was Grayson's service in the kingdom of his Heavenly Father. We were able to share our testimonies. And more then anything else I just felt so much love for everyone that was there, love for my Father in Heaven and gratitude for all the blessings in my life, and especially love for this little guy who has joined our family.
