That's why my summer project was a huge accomplishment for me.
I made this quilt.
It's cozy and cumfy and the kids fight over who gets to sit by Mom and share the quilt.
I love it.
And I didn't even sew my finger while making it!
I learned a few things while working on this....
I can actually sew.
And I really, really like sewing.
So now I'm working on a project involving a sewing machine, fabric, and my family room windows!

Look at you!! It's lovely!! I still need to finish the one I started 4 years ago...maybe your example will rub off.
Oh curtains, are so much fun. Can't wait to see them!
It doesn't seem that long ago that you sewed your finger, you have come a long way.
