Abby woke up early and went for a run with Bret.
I made cinnamon rolls.
Abby did a P90X work out with me.
We ate yummy cinnamon rolls and then headed over to Monticello to hike and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and colors.
We really love hiking as a family...so each of the kids got a Camelbacks for their birthday this year.
What is great about this place is all the trees. I have never seen such a variety of trees and it's so neat because they have little plaques by each one so we could read all the different names.
We saw critters...
And tried to soak in the beauty of the day.
After our little hike it was back home for naps, play dates, necklace making, and an overall wonderful and relaxing afternoon. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if Bret had the day off too...no such luck.
