The lesson in hard work, saving and sacrificing really paid off as we had the best time possible on our trip!
We embarked on a Monday morning. We were able to get one of the first check-in times...giving us optimal all day fun time on board the boat. Knowing we wouldn't have access to our bags until that evening, we packed swimsuits in a backpack to change into once we were on board.
After changing the first thing everyone hit was the ice cream machine. We totalled that our family consumed 66 ice cream cones during the four day cruise. And this was without me having even one!
We all did the new aqua duck slide, had fun in the pools, lounged in the sun, and ate, ate and ate some more.
Exploring the ship was a must on day one. The boys wanted to see where Avenger Training was going to be.

The girls were so excited to have their own state room...well ALMOST their own stateroom. We did have Zachary sleep in there are night.

Abby gave her first dining experience that night a two thumbs up. She loved being able to order anything she wanted!
Zachary had salmon every single night for dinner. And each and every he would ask if he could keep the skin.
